QUESTION...
"What happens if the installers cut into an underground phone cable or gas line while drilling post holes??"
Check most of our competitors paperwork and you will see that they take no responsibility for underground line damages. When you sign their contract they hold YOU responsible for any bills that may arise for cut lines or cables! WHAT??

As far as I know, Hancock Fence is the only fence company that takes full responsibility for underground damages.
When we are poking 36" deep holes in the ground, it's only a matter of time and something is going to get cut.
I hate to say..... but over the years, we have cut just about everything that there is to cut underground. :-(
Yes, we follow Texas Law and have all lines marked before digging. The line locate system used today is not very accurate and they allow themselves a margin of error of 3 feet!! Not good..... for us...

YES, That total is $1,863.55 dollars. OUCH!
I am by no means bragging, but we hit stuff all the time! Mostly sprinkler systems that we can repair on the spot. Over the past 15 years we have hit gas lines, electric lines, phone & cable t.v. lines. The only thing we have not hit yet is fiber optic. It's only a matter of time. I hear those are about $4,500 to repair.
This recent bill is from a phone line that our crew just barely nicked... but it had to be dug up anyway. Our customer never saw this bill and we paid it right away.
How would you like to receive one of these about 6 months later after you have paid for your fence and your fence contractor is long gone??
