With approx. 2,500 fences designed & installed, we have the experience you are looking for!

I know what you are thinking...

This is the page where I brag on our work and try to convince you that we are the best...blah..blah...blah....

Not necessarily, this is where I would like to give you a little insight as to how I think, my personality and how I try to run my business.

I have learned (the hard way) over the years that "getting the good stuff" has really opened my eyes when it comes to something that you have to depend on. Disposable items do not count, many of today's electronics are a good example. A $40 DVD player usually works just fine and in two years it will be a dinosaur anyway. In my mind its a bit foolish to spring for that $200 DVD player just because it looks cool. After all.... is on it's way to dinosaur land just the same.

My education on quality began about 25 years ago. As a teenager I was earning teenager wages and couldnt afford the good stuff and I didnt really think there was that much difference. I drove an old 1969 Chevy truck and did the mechanical work myself. I'm still a darn good mechanic, I just dont enjoy it as much as I used to. Anyway, I quickly became an expert at replacing my water pump, alternator, fuel pump and starter. I bought my parts at Chief Auto Supply because it was close by. The parts were rebuilt, inexpensive and had a lifetime warranty! What more could you want! An original equipment water pump at the dealer was three times the cost and only had a one year warranty. Duh...I'm going to Chief's!

Well, they kept their word on the warranty, and everytime one of those parts failed they gave me a new one. Those parts failed time after time and usually when I was on the road going somewhere important. It got to the point where I couldnt depend on my truck to get me anywhere. I was always nervous when I left, then grateful and relieved when I arrived at my destination.

I'll speed this up a bit and get to the point. I finally asked a mechanic friend why this truck was such bad luck? He told me it's not my truck, those rebuilt parts are crap. He advised me to save up and get the original parts because "it's worth it". Each time I bit the the bullet and paid the big bucks for an OE part I NEVER replaced it again. Eventually I could drive that truck anywhere and know FOR SURE that I was going to be OK. This really opened my eyes.....Today, when it comes to my truck repairs, I always require original factory parts and nothing less will do. I have never been sorry (except when I recieved the bill!) The sting goes away in a few days and I know I can count on my vehicles everyday.

Here are a few more examples of my education:

My old cheap $75 weed-eater from Home Depot many times would not start and it would only last a couple of seasons before switches went bad or the fuel lines started to rot. My $200 Echo weedeater is 5+ years old, starts in three pulls everytime and still runs perfect today. When I need to mow , I can mow, not work on a stupid weed-eater for hours.

I finally moved up a few steps on the computer ladder. I bought the big chip, big memory and sprung for a really fast processor. Everyday I turn this thing on, I am glad that I bought it. My old computers were current, average, OK and aggervating and dissappointing on many days.

Long story short, when I look back, I have never been sorry for buying quality. It has always been the on sale, close out, clearance, made in China stuff that has been a waste of money or a true dissapointment. I do not like returning products, but I will. I bought the item because I needed it, so now I'm faced with buying the more expensive version sitting right beside it and wish I would have bought it in the first place. For me...aggervation has a price.

This is what I try to accomplish with our fences. My philosiphy is a simple one. I build the same fence for you that's in my backyard right now. I'm just like you, I don't want to overspend or underspend. I want something that will last. I do not want to have to deal with fence issues anymore. I don't want to be nervous when the storms hit, and I don't want to be dissapointed afterwards. I have enough on my plate already. I want my gates to lock and work properly. I want to replace my fence ONE TIME and that's it. I dont want to cross this bridge again.

I focus on the stuff that seriously counts. I will not build anything for you that I would not build for myself. I constantly monitor new products and trends to evaluate if they are valuable to our fences or not. Most new products are tested on my fence first. If they perform as expected, I then make them available to you.

There are many areas that I could cut corners in this business, but at my own risk, I choose not to. I'm in this for the long haul, I'm not just passing through.

I chose this business many years ago because oddly enough, I thought I could make a difference. Well... I guess that I did, because today, many of my competitors are trying desperately to copy our work and especially my gates. I finally solved the gate problems with my adjustable, steel frame design that have plagued every single fence owner in our area for the last 30 years. They say that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", but I still dont like it. That was my idea.

I am in this to build a name and a good fence, not just collect your money and run.

If I can't enjoy the oppertunity to do things right in this business, then I'd rather do something else.

Well...So far...So good!
